Artwork Statement 作品簡介 

Cats are very important to me and I can’t live without cats now. They teach me how to be real and love myself. Drawing them brings me comfort, especially when times are tough. Each drawing captures their spirit and helps me express my feelings. 

貓對我非常重要，我現在無法沒有貓。它們教會我如何真實地生活和愛自己。在困難時刻，畫它們給我帶來了安慰。每一幅畫都捕捉了它們的靈魂，幫助我表達我的感受。 

About Artist 關於藝術家 

SiuFa Yu is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at RMIT University/HKAS. Over the past two years, a tragic family experience has prompted Yu to explore the deeper meanings of home and family through her family's old photographs. Through her diverse use of materials, Yu captures the complexities of individual emotions within a broader social context, encouraging reflection on the ties that bind us to our roots. 

茹小花目前正在RMIT/HKAS攻讀美術學士學位。在過去兩年，一次悲劇性的家庭經歷促使她通過探索家族的舊照片來探討家和家庭的深層意義。通過多樣的物料運用，茹小花捕捉了自身情感在廣泛社會背景中的複雜性，鼓勵人們反思家庭與根源的關係。
