Artwork Statement 作品簡介 

An Interpretation of Meaning Against this backdrop of immense "transience" and flux, the crowd of people holding umbrellas in the foreground are locked in the static state of "waiting." They pause before the traffic lights, where the space beneath their umbrellas forms a temporary zone of peace and quiet. This stillness represents the individual's brief halt under collective norms, their compliance with established order, and the anticipation of the next signal amidst the surrounding chaos. The tension of the photograph thus derives from this contrast: the grand world around us is constantly flowing and fleeting, yet we, as individuals, are frequently compelled—or genuinely need—to stop, seeking a momentary, fleeting refuge within the torrent of impermanence. 

在這種巨大的「瞬變」背景下，前景撐傘的人群卻處於「等待」的靜止狀態。他們在交通燈前駐足，傘下形成暫時的安寧空間。這份靜止代表了個體在集體規範下的短暫暫停、對既定秩序的遵守，以及在混亂中對下一個信號的期盼。 照片的張力便來自於：周遭的宏大世界不斷流動、轉瞬即逝，而作為個體的我們，卻不得不經常停下或切實需要停下，在無常的洪流中尋求一個轉瞬即逝的時刻。 

About Artist 關於藝術家 

Tang Kai Ming is a versatile artist, designer, and creator of the "Rice Ball Panda Family" IP. A former Art Director turned educator, he serves as the official artist for the "Little Van Gogh" program and exhibited his works at the Comix Arts Fest 2025. 

鄧啟明是集設計師、畫家及藝術導師於一身的多棲藝術家。他深耕廣告界逾二十年，後轉向純藝術。其重要貢獻包括受任**「小小梵高」官方藝術家**推廣藝術教育，並創立受歡迎的註冊 IP 「湯圓熊貓家」；該系列手繪作品更於 2025 年入選香港藝術中心「動漫藝術節」。
