Artist statement

RiK Wing Kei Yu is a dynamic artist known for his diverse skills in performance art, drawing, and traditional crafting. He holds a Master of Art in Curating and Art History from Lingnan University, a Master of Arts in Fine Art from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and a Bachelor of Art in Fine Art from RMIT. Yu’s work delves into the connections between individuals, their bodies and minds, and their communities, fostering impactful dialogue. Recently, he has focused on art education, holding positions at M+ and the Education University. A standout moment in his career was his artist residency in San Francisco in 2023, where he conducted a lantern-making workshop at a diversity culture event hosted by VISA headquarters.

Siu-Fong Yeung graduated from RMIT University Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art). Yeung's creative works attempt to recognise the "body" and see it as an object from different perspectives and observations; she explores relationships between the soul and the physique with her "body" and expresses it via various media. Her recent series comprises paintings, ceramics, video, sound, and installation. Apart from participating in artistic creation, Yeung is also a performance artist.
