Artist bio
Yu Ka He is an innovative Artist whose art captures the poetry of urban life and personal memory. His work interweaves intimate experiences with the textures of cityscapes, transforming everyday moments into visual narratives that resonate. With a Master of Arts in Fine Arts from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (2019) and a Bachelor of Arts in Photography from RMIT University and the Hong Kong Art School (2016), Yu skillfully explores themes of temporality and subjectivity. His images invite viewers to reflect on the passage of time and the interplay of light and shadow. In 2023, his solo exhibition Playing With Light at ArtèThing (PMQ) showcased his exploration of luminous memory. Yu has contributed to significant group exhibitions, public art displays, and creative projects with Voice & Verse Poetry Magazine.
