創作概念  

Yiu Chi Leung— 作品探索信仰與科學，也揉合了東西方的傳統元素與流行文化，具有一種科幻和獨特的美學特徵；創作展現上世紀末科技進步對於自身成長帶來的影響，以及太空與未來的想像。 
 
延續「樂園」的創作概念－「在荒漠中建構一片樂土，在蒼白的文明世界中添置一抹色彩。」，是反映一種自我心靈的折射，對過去與未來世界充滿盼望，這超越了一切時間和歷史界限。 
 
系列「要有光就有了光」，原文引自《創世記》，畫中充滿真實與虛幻，表達科技帶來的「異化」；同時展現藝術家內心創造的理想世界，對永恆價值的追求，以及玩世不恭的人生觀和信仰。 
 
繪畫作品「為愛而生」，描繪一個變幻莫測的世界，我們要及時擁抱愛，因爲它是超越世間一切物質和理性；同時隱喻對世界的愛、自然的崇高和存在的意義。 
 
而雕塑作品「守護天使」象徵為人帶來「救贖」和「引領」，也是傳達「希望」的使者。 
 
Artwork Statement 

Yiu Chi Leung's work explores the relationship between faith and science, blending traditional elements from both the East and West with popular culture, characterized by a unique sci-fi aesthetic. His creations reflect the impact of technological advancements from the late 20th century on personal growth, as well as imaginative visions of space and the future. 
 
Continuing the concept of "Paradise"—"Construct a paradise in the desert, add a touch of color to the pale civilized world" 「在荒漠中建構一片樂土，在蒼
白的文明世界中添置一抹色彩。」— it reflects a deep inner self-reflection, filled with hope for both the past and future worlds, transcending all temporal and historical boundaries. 
 
The series "Let there be light and there was light” draws from the Book of Genesis, filled with both reality and fantasy, expressing the "alienation" brought about by technology. It also showcases the artist's ideal world of inner creation, pursuit of eternal values, and a cynical worldview and belief system. 
 
The painting "Born for Love" depicts an impermanent world. We must embrace love in a intimately manner, as it transcends all material and rational aspects of life. It also serves as a metaphor for love for the world, the sublime nature, and the meaning of existence. 
 
The sculpture "Guardian Angel" symbolizes "redemption" and "guidance," serving as a messenger of "hope." 
 
About Artist 

Contemporary artist Yiu Chi Leung conducts his creative artwork in Hong Kong. In 2018, he graduated in Master degree of Visual Arts (Merit), major in studio & media arts at Baptist University. In the same year he received the Best Artwork award from the school. In 2015, he graduated from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) with a Bachelor degree in Fine Art, major in paintings. Yiu Chi Leung's talent is well recognized through Mr. Jerry Kwan Memorial scholarship. In 2016, Yiu Chi Leung became a Top Ten Young Talent in Hong Kong. His work, created based on a spectrum of media such as paintings, drawings, installation, photography, and mixed media, have been collected and displayed in various exhibitions around the world, including International Art Exhibitions, Museums and Biennial.  
 
關於姚志良  

姚志良，香港當代藝術家，現於香港生活及設立工作室進行創作。2018 年畢業於浸會大學視 覺藝術碩士學位課程，主修藝術創作與延伸媒介，期間
獲學校頒發最佳作品獎。2015 年於澳 洲皇家墨爾本理工大學 Royal 
Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT)取得藝術文學士 學位，主修繪畫，同年獲關晃先生紀念獎學金。2016 年成為 Young Talent Hong Kong 首 十位焦點新晉藝術家之一。他的創作媒材主要以繪畫、裝置、攝影及混合媒介為主。他的作 品曾受邀參與世界多地的展覽，包括國際藝術展、博物館及雙年展，部分作品被博物館及私 人收藏。
