My artwork creation is mainly inspired by surrealism’s dream-like scenes, mythic imagery and symbolism as an expression of humans’ unconscious minds and inner feelings, while embracing the aesthetics of postmodernism.
Artist bio
Juliana Yau was born and raised in Hong Kong. She graduated from RMIT University in 2022 with a Bachelor degree in Fine Art. Currently she is studying Master of Arts in Fine Art at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
