Artist Statement 

I believe art changes life.  I started my artistic journey of painting and ceramics in 2011 and 2016, respectively. Seeking to deepen my artistic skills and knowledge, I completed the Professional Diploma in Fine Art at the Hong Kong Art School in 2017, as well as the Holistic Western Painting course at the Chinese University of Hong Kong's School of Continuing and Professional Studies.  My painting style mainly revolves around landscapes and surrealism, while my exploration of ceramics is inspired by nature, experimenting with different textures and possibilities of the medium.

I think education can enable more people to understand and connect to arts, so I actively participate in various community art and activities.  I am also passionate about the therapeutic benefits of art and its impact on mental health and emotional well-being.  In pursuit of this interest, I have expanded my expertise and become a Certified Practitioner of Art in Assessment and Therapy.

Currently, I work as a ceramist, an art therapy practitioner, a part-time art educator and also serve as a WWF eco-guide.  These diverse roles allow me to express my creativity, share my knowledge, and contribute to the community in meaningful ways. 

相信藝術能改變生活,分別於2011年和2016年開始繪畫和陶瓷的藝術之旅。為了加深藝術知識和技巧,於2017年修畢香港藝術學院藝術專業文憑和香港中文大學專業進修學院「全方位西方繪畫訓練」。繪畫主要以風景和超現實主義為題材,而陶瓷創作則嘗試探索各種可能性,以
大自然為創作靈感,摸索不同的肌理和創作技巧。

盧氏認為教育可以讓更多的人了解和接觸藝術,因此積極參與和進行各種社區藝術活動,也熱衷於藝術的治療及其對心理和情緒健康的影響。現為陶藝家/藝術應用於心理評估與治療執行師/陶藝導師/WWF生態導賞員。這些不同的角色讓她能夠表達創造力,分享知識,並以有意義的方式為社區做出貢獻。
