Artist Statement 

Lo Pui Man Polly studies the city space she inhabits and explores the possibility of expressing her perceptions and memories of her life experiences. She moved around the city and resided in an unsettled place. The debris left on the renovation site is sentimental to remind the ageing, replacement, and elimination. And also, the fading of familiar landmarks. So, Lo synthesises her collected images that allow her to search for the phenomenon of tangible and virtual in her being. Polly got an art student graduate unit at JCCAC, Jockey Club Creative Art Centre, from 2023 to 2025.
