屹立不同的建築、連綿的景,  當我望向浩渺大海中，重重疊疊的山嶺、排列成行，時隱時現。這一座小小的城市，無數棟房屋如同魚鱗般整齊而密集地緊靠著。我細看着，甚至於屋簷邊上飾物也清晰，歷歷在目。可直到下一時分，蜃樓慢慢消失，先前所見的又在哪裡呢？往往像這樣，每刻皆變幻，而每刻皆觀望的我才相信，這都是真的。

The different buildings, continuous scenery, when I look at the vast sea, overlapping mountains, arranged in rows, sometimes disappear or appear. In this little city, countless houses like fish scale neat and dense close together. I looked closely, and even the ornaments on the edge of the eaves were clear and vivid. But until the next moment, when it slowly disappears, where is the previously seen? Often like this, every moment is changing, and watching every moment, I believe that this is true.

Artist Statement 

林出身於2001年的香港，一直至2021年畢業於香港知專設計學院，並在2023年在香港浸會大學畢業。以往主要用緊密細緻的筆觸描繪香港城市景色,  近年用水墨畫的形式創作。關注和觀察日常生活中的細節，並將其運用到創作中。如記錄一般，留下香港在自然與城市之間轉型的發展歷程。

Lim was born in Hong Kong in 2001 and graduated from Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI) in 2021, Hong Kong Baptist University in 2023. In recent years, Lim has focused more on the form of ink painting to describe Hong Kong's urban scenery with tight and detailed strokes. She pay attention and observe the details in daily life and apply them to her creation. Like a record, leaving Hong Kong's development process of transformation between nature and the city.
