Artist Statement
Li Yaqiang graduated from the Beijing Film Academy with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. He obtained his Master's degrees from Peking University and City University of Hong Kong, earning a Master's in Literature. He is currently pursuing studies at the Faculty of Arts at the HKU. He has received awards such as the Most Promising Newcomer Award at the 2nd National Young Photographers Exhibition and the First Prize in the Documentary Category at the China Western Film Awards.
