《生機》以蓮藕為靈感，象徵生命的延續與希望。作品通過流暢的線條與層次分明的結構，展現自然的力量與美感，寓意在逆境中依然茁壯成長，傳遞出堅韌與重生的精神。

"A new lease of life " draws inspiration from the lotus root, symbolizing the continuation of life and hope. Through its fluid lines and layered structure, the piece showcases the power and beauty of nature, conveying the spirit of resilience and rebirth, thriving even in adversity.

Artist Statement

紀淑芬分別於新西蘭奧克蘭大學獲藝術文學士學位及香港理工大學設計碩士學位；並曾於香港視覺藝術中心修畢雕塑和版畫專修及深造課程。紀淑芬現時是一位中學視覺藝術科教師及多元化藝術愛好者，她的藝術創作包括中國書法、陶藝、繪畫、電繪、版畫和雕塑。 此外，她活躍於不同藝術媒介的進修，其作品曾於香港及海外展出。

Janice Kee graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from University of Auckland, New Zealand, and a master degree of Design from Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She also received advanced specialist training in sculpture and printmaking at Hong Kong Visual Art Centre. Janice is a Visual Arts teacher in a secondary school and also is a versatile artist: Art creations including Chinese calligraphy, pottery, drawing, digital art, printmaking, and sculpture. She is active in different art related training and exhibitions in Hong Kong and overseas.
