Artist Statement

范詩晴（2004，香港）現於香港藝術學院就讀藝術文學士課程，主修陶瓷。主要創作媒介為陶瓷，偶有運用現成物創作。
她的創作靈感主要來自對日常物的觀察和思考。通過陶瓷原材料上的調動，將物件拆解、重組，嘗試推倒日常物的原有功能和既定意義，展現其於不同脈絡下所指涉的符號。她的創作旨在對於日常物品的重新詮釋，試圖提供新視角觀看日常。

Fan Sze Ching (2004, Hong Kong), currently studying BAFA in Fine Art at Hong Kong Art School, majoring in ceramics. Ceramic is her primary creative medium, with occasional use of Readymade objects.
Her inspiration mainly comes from observing and contemplating daily objects.
Through adjustments on ceramics' raw materials, deconstructing and reassembling objects, she attempts to overthrow the original function and existential meaning of daily objects, revealing the symbol of daily objects signified under different context. Her creation aims to reinterpret daily objects and seeks to provide a new perspective on everyday life.
