Artist Statement

JIANG Jilin is currently an MFA student in the School of Creative Media at City University of Hong Kong. He obtained BA in Japanese Literature from Hunan University in China. He is focusing on digital sculptures and contemporary art, and experimenting with new art styles and mediums. Also, he is interested in various aspects such as creature design, 3D printing, interactive art and virtual reality. He strives to incorporate his reflections on art, literature and philosophy into his creations. His output includes sculptures, videos, interactive works and VR installations, aiming to create thought-provoking works that inspire introspection, enlightenment and humanistic spirit.
