Artwork Statement 作品簡介 

"Baroque" is derived from the Portuguese word "Barroco", referring to irregular natural "pathological pearls". The work uses Mash Mixer, Rhino software and 3D printing technology to integrate the exotic zodiac prototypes from The Classic of Mountains and Seas, creating a "horse - amalgam" with the characteristics of both embryos and tumors. Professional manicure techniques are used to simulate the texture of uneven accumulation of nacre around foreign objects, interweaving beauty and grotesqueness. It serves as a visual metaphor for "cultural domestication", presenting the process in which civilization wraps the primitive and unruly natural forces with a delicate and orderly pearlescent layer, transforming them into gentle cultural symbols. 

「巴洛克」源自葡語「Barroco」，指嘅係唔規則嘅天然「病態珍珠」。呢個作品運用Mash Mixer、Rhino軟件同埋3D打印技術，融合《山海經》入面奇異嘅生肖原型，塑造出兼具胚胎同腫瘤特徵嘅「馬混合體」。透過專業美甲工藝去模擬珍珠質圍繞異物唔均勻堆積嘅質感，交織出美同怪誕嘅感覺。以視覺隱喻「文化馴化」，展現出文明用精緻有序嘅珍珠層去包裹原始、不受拘束嘅自然力量，並將其轉化為溫和文化符號嘅過程。
