Artwork Statement 作品簡介 
 
Ice cream represents different wonderful things. It melts quickly, so please eat it as soon as possible! This symbolizes that although we don't want the ice cream or certain things to disappear, everything will gradually fade away, so we should cherish the present. It speaks to the contradictions of control and uncontrollability, disappearance and existence, and prevention and acceptance. 
 
雪糕代表的意義是不同美好的事情。雪糕很快會溶化，請盡快食用！這代表了雖然不想雪糕或者某些事情消失，但每一樣事情都會逐漸消失，因此要珍惜當下。講述了控制與不能控制，消失與存在，阻止與順其自然的矛盾。 
 
 
About Artist 關於藝術家 
 
A recent graduate of the Hong Kong Baptist University, School of Visual Arts and currently  working as an illustrator, CHENG Ip-ip, Cynthia is an artist of digital illustration, needle pen,  watercolour, and acrylic painting.   

Her work revolves around her own emotions, feelings or starts from some problem and  situation. Also, it is presented with meticulous and interestingly imagined spaces and  illustrator characters. 

 
 
燁燁畢業於香港浸信會大學視覺藝術學院，目前是插畫家。她擅長數位插畫、針管筆、水彩和壓克力畫。 她的作品圍繞著她自身的情感和感受展開，或源自於某些問題和情境。其以精細且充滿想像的空間和插畫人物為特色。
