Cai Gongheng (1922–1978), courtesy name Shaodu, art name Master of the Hundred-Foot Tower, was a native of Jieyang, Guangdong. He studied under artists Wang Xianzhao, Huang Jiazhe, and celebrated artists of the Lingnan School such as Gao Jianfu, Li Gemin and others. He moved to Hong Kong in 1949. Over his 40‑year artistic career, he created more than 10,000 works, held dozens of solo exhibitions, and published three painting textbooks. 
 
蔡公衡（1922年—1978年），字紹度，號百尺樓主，廣東揭陽人。師從畫家王顯詔、黃家澤、以及高劍父、黎葛民等嶺南畫派名家。1949年移居香港。藝術生涯四十年間，創作逾萬幅作品，舉辦數十場個展，出版三本繪畫教科書。
