Artwork Statement 作品簡介 
 
This sculpture depicts an egg with three legs and two hands dashing through space, blending humor and absurdity to explore themes of life, imbalance, and the pursuit of meaning. The egg, a symbol of life and potential, is anthropomorphized, breaking its fragile, static image to embody vitality. The asymmetrical three-legged design challenges notions of balance, symbolizing life’s imperfections and chaos, while critiquing society’s obsession with perfection and achievement. 
 
這件雕塑呈現一顆長著三條腿與兩隻手的蛋在奔跑，融合幽默與荒誕，探索生命、不平衡與追尋意義的主題。蛋象徵生命與潛能，被賦予擬人化的動態，打破其脆弱形象，展現活力。三條腿的不對稱設計挑戰平衡觀念，隱喻人生旅程中的不完美與混亂，批判現代社會對完美與成就的執著。 
 
 
About Artist 關於藝術家 
 
Chow Shun Keung Graduated from the Northcote College of Education in 1987.  In 1994, he started to study marble sculpture with Lai Yat-fong. He won the First runner –up in Sculpture in the Philippe Charriol Foundation Art Competition in 1995. Then he studied wood sculpture with Tong King-sum and his work was featured in the “Philippe Charriol Foundation Art Competition Exhibition” in 1997.  In 2001 he has received Award from Hong Kong Museum of Art. In 2007 he was invited by Singapore Sculpture Society to attend the first International Woodcarving Symposium 2007. And he wrote the “Guide to Urban Sculpture in Hong Kong” with Mr Tai Sheung Shing in 2007. 
 
1987年畢業於羅富國教育學院。1994年隨黎日晃先生習雲石雕塑。1995年獲夏利豪基會藝術比賽雕塑組亞軍。1997年隨唐景森先生習木雕；同年作品入選夏利豪基金藝術比賽。2001獲香港藝術館頒發藝術優異獎。2007 年度獲新加坡雕塑學會邀請參與第一屆國際木雕交流會。2007他與戴尚誠先生合著「香港雕塑導引」。
