Artwork Statement 作品簡介 

This series is the artist’s tool to deal with and overcome his midlife crisis by revisiting his childhood.  

Without any curve or circle, all shapes and lines were drawn according to the grid pattern school exercise book. From this, he resembles childhood memories and has emotional echo to the characters of a school boy who was pure, kind, honest, curious, non-judgmental and resilient. 這個「童年」系列裹，藝術家透過重溫童年圖案來應對自己的中年危機。這些小畫作沒有曲線或圓形。所有形狀和線條都根據習作簿的方格畫出來。令他聯想到五十年前的自己，曾經是一個純真，善良，誠實，好奇，不帶偏見和對逆境堅韌的小孩子。 
 

About Artist 關於藝術家 
 
FS Chan - Born in Hong Kong, FS Chan received a BA in Fine Arts and Business Administration from Trinity Western University, Langley, Canada. He later went on to pursue a Master's at the Sotheby’s Institute of Art, London. He currently lives and works in Hong Kong. 
 
陳福成出生於香港，畢業於加拿大西聖三一大學，獲藝術及工商管理學士學位。之後，他前往倫敦蘇富比藝術學院攻讀碩士學位。目前，他生活及工作於香港。
